She began her career in the relocation business in 1994 following graduation from the University of Reno, Nevada. After working for several prominent freight forwarders, Heather founded True North Relocation in 2004. With more than 26 years of experience, she leads a company that values integrity and customer service above everything else.
Heather is active member of the International Association of Movers (IAM). She helped create the IAM-YP, a young professional group within IAM, and she served as the group’s Vice Chair from 2000-2004. From 2004-2016, Heather was the President of the Alan F. Wohlstetter Scholarship Fund, which supports students of transportation and logistics. She remains a dedicated board member and serves as North American Representative on the Core Members Management Board. In 2013, Heather was inducted into the International Association of Movers’ Hall of Honor.
During her free time, she enjoys gardening, cooking, and volunteering for local political and charitable organizations.
Philanthropy
True North Relocation strongly supports higher education worldwide through the Alan F. Wohlstetter Scholarship Fund. By providing scholarships to students of transportation and logistics, this fund is helping to improve technology and business practices globally.
